Not knowing about the Northern Billabongfly when I was in Cairns in January 2015, I took little notice of this damselfly thinking it was an Eastern Billabongfly. I snapped off one photo and moved on.
Back in Brisbane, I examined my photographs from the trip and kicked myself for not taking more photos of this Northern Billabongfly.
